Shirdi Sai Baba: A Brief History
Shirdi Sai Baba was a spiritual saint who lived in Shirdi, Maharashtra, during the late 19th and early 20th century. His exact birth details are unknown. He lived a simple life, wore a robe, and stayed mostly in a mosque called Dwarkamai.
Sai Baba taught the values of faith (Shraddha) and patience (Saburi). He preached love, forgiveness, charity, and unity beyond religion, respecting both Hindu and Muslim traditions. Many devotees believed he performed miracles and helped people in distress.
Sai Baba attained Samadhi on 15 October 1918, and today the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple is one of the most visited pilgrimage places in India.
